Location

Catch a nonstop flight to Cabo or La Paz from twenty cities in the US and Western Canada.  Todos Santos is just over an hour from either airport.

Now that you’re here, what’s close to Casa Caoba?

Walk to:

  • the beach to watch sunsets, lay down in the sand, do yoga, and watch whales (December-March).  No swimming at this beach!  The beach is a ten minute walk down a really lovely single-lane road, shaded by huge mango trees and lined with bougainvillaea!
  • Cocina de Cleo–my sister-in-law’s restaurant for fish and shrimp tacos, breakfast, mexican food, and great margaritas 8 am to 7:30 pm.  Just around the corner!
  • Lavanderia Evolet–get your clothes washed, dried and folded for you.
  • our secret neighborhood pizza joint
  • two gorgeous hikes

Drive to:

  • Mercado Sol 2–the grocery store–is just a 1 minute drive away!  Forgot the limes for your beers?  No problem!
  • A ten minute drive North will get you to La Pastora, a favorite local surf spot.
  • Everyone’s favorite wifi cafe, La Esquina, is a five minute drive back towards town.  They’ve got breakfast, lunch, smoothies, happy hour.  Great craft beer on tap!  My favorite IPA is “Pelirojo”.
  • The best locals-only swimming beach, Punta Lobos, is just ten minutes away, and you can buy fish directly from the fishermen in the afternoons (1 pm – 5 pm).
  • Cerritos, the best spot to learn how to surf, with lessons and rentals available, is a 15 minute drive south.
